Part 8- hours later

"It's been hours now!  How long does it take for them to get there!" Cordelia complained.

"I don't know," Giles answered, equally tired.  "Let's check on Spike," he said.

"Oh like that'll pass much time," Cordy answered.  But they went to check on him anyway.

"Spike!" Cordy shouted.  "Come into the world!"

"Spike?"

"Where are you Spike?"

He was gone.

"Okay, I don't like the looks of this," Cordelia said. "Where's Bleach Boy?"

Giles sighed.  "I presume he went to go protect Druscilla. Not that he'll be able to do much good with his fix."

"You know, I had no sleep last night, barely.  Then Angel dragged me up and down here.  I'm pretty tired." Cordelia complained.

"You're not the one researching the Yosevah demon, which is over in Idaho.  I was researching it for Olivia," Giles said tiredly.  "And up all night, besides."

"Ohhhh you have a girlfriend?" Cordelia asked.  Giles nodded.  "Ew gross!  I'm going to watch T.V and get this mental image out of my head," she said.

"Well fine," Giles huffed.  "I'll just drink my fiftieth cup of coffee."

Cordelia flounced on his couch, and channel surfed. She couldn't find anything on though.  It's been so long since she's watched T.V.  Cordelia felt her eyelids growing heavy.  She tried to think about something, anything.  But she was too tired.

Meanwhile, Giles was concentrating on not spilling the coffee.  His hand moved robotic like, and he could barely lift the coffee cup to his mouth.  He was just so tired.

A little nap won't hurt.  Buffy's not even asleep.  Just for a little while.  Kringle won't be able to do much damage then.  No-

Cordelia and Giles were at Cordelia's apartment.  But both were awake.  Buffy was no where in sight.

"I gotta wake up!" Cordelia said, slapping and pinching herself.  "This isn't working!" she cried.

"We're stuck in a spiritual land, it's not going to help," Giles said irritably.

"Well, don't just stand there!  I don't want to be stabbed to death!" Cordelia said urgently.

"What can we do?" Giles said.  Cordelia walked over to him and slapped him.

"Wake up!" she said.  "Go away!"  But Giles remained there, in his dream.

"Don't worry Princess.  He's not going to hurt you," a familiar Irish accent said.

"Doyle!" Cordelia said, surprised.  "Doyle," she whispered.

"And me," Jenny said.

"Jenny," Giles said tenderly.  "Jenny, I've missed you so much."  Jenny smiled sweetly at him.

"I know Rupert.  I've missed you too."

"Doyle!  This guy Kringle!  He's going to kill us all." Cordelia said.  "Cause we're asleep."

"We can't save you from him, but we can protect you for a while, until Buffy and Angel are able to stop Druscilla. We'll stall as long as possible," Jenny told them.

"And you'll be able to move, you won't be on his own free will," Doyle said.

"How is this possible?  I mean, you, her, here?" Cordelia said.

"It's Christmas," Jenny answered plainly.  ::THUD::
