The purpose of this site is to fight the hate, by sharing our love. This site is here to prove what a loving, tight community the BtVS on-line fanfic community really is. The idea for this site came up when members of Fictalk learned about the Badfiction Terror Squad (BTS), who make personal attacks against members of the on-line BtVS community, mostly the fanfic community. Now, most of us are not like this and now we are here to prove. And so arose, the Fight the Flames With Love. We are here to fight their hate with our love. And to continue sharing the love once their gone.

Our mission is spread the love and counter the ill effects of the BTS and their hateful words. Ways we are trying to do this include: a letter writing campaign to let all those hurt by the BTS know that they are good people, that are cared about and to let them know how wrong we think the BTS are; a petition, which will be sent to tripod to shut their site down, since it is in direct violation of the tripod terms of service; the writers page, where we tell about all the wonderful writers of the BtVS fanfic community; a message board, so you can share the love your love of this community with others; and ways to become official supporters of Fight the Flames With Love, and love in the BtVS community.
The Letters of Love Campaign
The below are people targeted by the BTS, under the heading the BTS puts them under, and the approximate reasons the BTS sites for putting them there. These are the people who need your letters of love, encouragement, and support. Please email them and tell them how wrong the BTS are. Use the headings to customize your emails, so you know where the most encouragement is likely to be needed. Thank you for your loving support.

Dreamer runs the site & the writers section, the fic was contributed by Penny, who is also running the petition, and Steph created and is moderating the Message Board.
