Author's Notes: This is about as angst-ridden as I'll get! I'm a happy B/A person.
*The Graveyard*
Buffy: Angel, stop being stealth-guy and leave or help me hunt.
Angel comes out from behind a tree.
Angel: How did you know I was here?
Buffy: My nice little Slayer sense you set it off differently.
Angel: So is that good or bad?
Buffy: Depends
Angel: On what?
Buffy: On whether or not you give me a kiss.
Angel turns away
Buffy: Angel, what's wrong?
Angel: Buffy, we can't do this. I can't give you what you want or need. You need someone who be with you all the time, not just a shadow at night.
Buffy: I don't want someone to be with me all the time if it isn't you!
Angel: You shouldn't love me. I AM a demon, Buffy. Pure and Simple!!
Buffy: YOU are not a demon, a demon INHABITS your body. There is a difference. I CAN'T HELP THE WAY I FEEL! I CAN'T STOP LOVING YOU.
Buffy starts crying
Buffy: You are the only thing keeping me sane. My mom puts so much pressure on me to go to college even though she truly knows that I can't abadon my duties and the fact that I may die before then. Giles wants me to be the perfect slayer and go to college. My friends' lives all depend on me. You are the only person that doesn't put any pressure on me. You treat me special; I don't have to be tough. You are the only person I can cry in front of. I can't live without you; I just can't!!! I won't!!!
Buffy runs home, sobbing. Angel walks home close to tears. Both turn put on a CD.
*Buffy's Room*
Buffy is lying in her room, listening to her Sarah McLachlan CD that Angel bought her.
*Angel's Apartment*
Angel puts on the CD in his player.

Buffy climbs out her window after hearing Angel's request and walks to the graveyard. Angel does the same after hearing Buffy's request.
Angel: Buffy
Buffy: Shut up and kiss me, Angel.
Angel and Buffy kiss.
Buffy: Angel, you are the only one I care about.
Angel: Buffy, I love you. Forget about what I said because I only did it for you to have a chance at a normal life. But, if you want a life with me, I love you forever.
They kiss again.&nbps; But they don't see Jenny Calendar, but they hear her speak.
Jenny: Together Forever. For true love, that's all that matters. You two need to be together. All is peaceful now because the curse is permanent, now. Your unconditional love for each other made it permanent. Tell Rupert I love him forever, but he needs to move on.
She disappears, as does her voice. Buffy and Angel walk back to his apartment and lie down in his bed. Tomorrow will start the rest of their life together.
