Author's Notes:Yes, another G2 story, but this is different. This is a denial fic for all my fellow Buffy and Angel fans. Enjoy.
He was gone.
He had left her.
She watched the place he had been a minute before, wishing he would be there again. He wasn't, he was gone.
Angel had left her.
It was over, after everything this was it. It was ending, she felt like she was going to die.
She started to cry...... * * * * *
"Angel!" Buffy screamed sitting up, her fiance sat up beside her, rubbing his eyes.
"What's wrong honey?" Angel asked.
"I had the strangest dream." Buffy said, shaking her head.
Angel looked concerned. "Was it about?" He asked gently.
"It was complicated." She said slowly, trying to remember it.
"Tell me." He said, playing with her hair.
She snuggled closer. "Okay. In it vampires were real, and we lived in a place called Sunnydale. It was a Hellmouth. You were a vampire and I the slayer."
"Wow." Angel said, Buffy nodded.
"Yeah. But that's not all. You're father, and Willow, Xander, Oz, Cordelia, and William were all there too. You're father was my watcher Giles, Willow, Xand, Cordy, and Oz were my friends, and William was a vampire called Spike."
Angel laughed at the image of his serious younger brother being called Spike.
Buffy continued. "The weirdest part was us. You were cursed with a soul, and I loved you. But we could never be together. We went through a lot. You lost your soul, then you got it back to be sent to Hell, finally you left me." She said, Angel looked at her tenderly.
"Buffy, I would never do that."
"I know." She said, smiling up at him. "It was only a dream."
"Yeah.," He said, kissing her gently. "Just a dream."
